Size & placement helper
Living room: Front legs of seating on the rug; leave ~20–45 cm (8–18") from rug edge to wall.
Dining: Rug extends ~60 cm (24") beyond table on all sides so chairs slide comfortably.
Bedroom: 240×340 cm (8×11') or larger for queens; run 2/3 under the bed and beyond the sides.
Hallway: Leave ~10–15 cm (4–6") reveal on each side of a runner.
